Typically it isn’t the case with cars already priced in the hundreds, but I really do think they accidentally put an extra zero on there

Ugh, this even has a slantnose, which is totally undesirable. Unless this is a forgotten/6, run away.

The sad part is, if those are the SCCA fender flares, they would have made the car really desireable in good shape.

If I could find a car like that with a little less rot, I would snatch it up in an instant. Drop in a subie motor/trans, maybe a little turbo and call it a day.

I would need the wide fenders though...they make the car way cooler.

Let’s say you have a 914 project car that doesn’t have a title, or you have a 914 track car you want to make street legal that doesn’t have a title, or you have a kit car that doesn’t have a title.

That could possibly be the most useful part on the car.

If you make anything out of that car I don’t think there’d be anything left from it lol, would the title still be useful then?

$950 white car, plus 700 title car = street legal white car.

K I clearly have no idea how a title works. Od they cost $700? And can you just “transfer” between similar looking cars?

I’ve only heard stories of people doing that. I don’t remember any names, of course.

Man has old rusted out car. Drivetrain is good, sheetmetal is beyond repair.

Man finds solid shell of same made/model and tows it home. It does not have an engine.

Man puts his good parts on the enginless body. Takes the best from both and puts it on new body.

Man puts VIN tag from rusty heap on new nice car.

Man scraps old rusty frame.
